The Algoma Housing Authority was established to provide safe and sanitary low-income apartments in Algoma, WI, for individuals and double occupants. Today, the authority manages 39 total apartment rentals at Grand View Terrace, which includes 35 one-bedroom apartments and 4 two-bedroom apartments, some of which are wheelchair adapted. These Algoma apartments are designed to meet the needs of the community.

The Algoma Housing Authority operates as an independent governmental agency, governed by a five-member board composed of City of Algoma residents. Our funding comes from tenant-paid rents and grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), ensuring that no municipal tax dollars are used in the operations of the Housing Authority.
